With more than 25 years of experiences, we specialize in tribal art and ethnography, our african art connoisseur and dealer, Seydou Mamadou Keita, dedicated a lifetime in researching each of the tribes and their deep culture, bringing art enthusiasts and collectors, the most authentic masterpieces.
Founder
After selling in art fairs and expos in different cities, I had no doubt that an art gallery was the next project. I had already encountered a high number of customers who love African art, important personalities as well as large collectors.
When they talk about African art, we feel the love, devotion and passion for their collection or should I say ”treasure”. It profundly touched me, deep to the core. My respect for collectors and the former owners of these cultural works of art became my own obsession and commitment — I was on a mission to guarantee and authenticate all pieces coming into the gallery, and maintain a permanent contact with their new and former owners.
I will never be in favor of haggling or speculate on a piece of culture, because I believe that its true value reside in the revelation of its own cultural heritage and provenance. I also think that no piece of culture should be condemned to remain in its place of origin forever. In our days, exchanges of culture and knowledge outside our borders may well create peace, love and harmony among us all.
